Kleero is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect when you use the website, why, and what rights you have — it works alongside our Terms & conditions.

We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Each of these only receives what it needs to do its specific job — for example, DVSA only ever sees the registration you're checking, not your account email.
We keep your account and saved reports for as long as your account stays open, so you can always come back and re-download a report you've paid for. Premium call requests are kept as a record of the request and how it was actioned. If you'd like your account and data deleted, contact us and we'll do so, other than anything we're legally required to retain (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).
Some of the providers above (payment and email processing in particular) may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's own standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.
Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text) and the site is served over HTTPS. Access to the admin panel is restricted to accounts explicitly granted the admin role.
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in — it's required for the site to function and can't be turned off. We don't currently use any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, contact us via your account page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've mishandled your data.
Kleero is intended for users aged 18 and over and isn't directed at children.
We may update this policy from time to time — the "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
